Gene Rosati Jr. is a colorist based in Providence, Rhode Island, with over a decade of experience in post-production. He works across film, documentary, television, music video, and branded content, helping filmmakers and production teams bring their projects to life through color.

With a background in editorial, online, and finishing, Gene understands the entire post-production process from conform through final delivery. He's comfortable handling the practical details that come with finishing, including conform, cleanup, paint-outs, blurs, and minor VFX, while keeping the focus on the creative work.

His approach to color is collaborative and detail-oriented. He works closely with directors, cinematographers, and producers to understand what they're trying to achieve, whether that's refining a natural image, developing a specific visual style, or simply making sure every shot feels right. The goal is to make the color process straightforward, collaborative, and focused on the project.

Gene works with clients both locally and remotely, and is always open to talking through a project, even if the scope or visual direction is still taking shape.

When he's not grading, he's usually biking or hiking with his family, or exploring a new local coffee spot.
